Traditional round-bottom wok performance
The Yosukata 14-inch black carbon steel wok is made for fast, high-heat cooking. Its round bottom concentrates heat and makes it easier to toss and move ingredients during stir-frying.
- Pre-seasoned: Factory pre-seasoning gives you a head start, but the cooking surface will continue developing its natural patina with regular use.

Before first use
Wash the wok by hand, dry it completely, and apply a very thin layer of cooking oil. Although the wok is pre-seasoned, continued seasoning and cooking will improve the patina and food release over time.
Care instructions
- Hand wash after the wok has cooled; do not put it in the dishwasher.
- Dry immediately with a towel or over low heat.
- Apply a thin layer of cooking oil before storage.
- Store in a dry place.
- Metal utensils can be used.

Carbon steel is not a synthetic non-stick surface. Its color will change and the patina will become darker and more uneven with use. This is normal. If rust appears after exposure to moisture, the surface can be cleaned and re-seasoned.
